Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes Approval
Approve the minutes of the September 23, 2024 meeting of the Library Board of Trustees.
PUBLIC COMMENT Persons wishing to comment on any item not appearing on the agenda may submit to the Recording Secretary a "Request to Speak" form. State law prevents the Board from taking action on any matter not on this agenda. Your comments may be referred to staff for further review.
OLD BUSINESS
3.
Status report on the Marina Library Improvement Project.
The Public Works Project Management Team will present a detailed status report to the Library Trustees on the progress of the design for future repairs and potential improvements at the Marina Library. This report will outline the scope of the upcoming project, describe completed investigatory activities that have informed the design, and summarize ongoing collaboration with library staff, the project manager, and the designer.
The Board will consider for adoption an updated draft of the Special Collections Policy that includes their recommended edits from the September 23, 2024 meeting.
Library Board members, Library Foundation representative and staff report on their liaison roles, various assignments, calendar of events and requests for future agenda items.
