PUBLIC COMMENT
During the public comment period, members of the public may speak on general items of interest within the Commission's jurisdiction that are not on the agenda.  Each member of the public may speak for a maximum of three minutes with a maximum of 15 minutes for the entire public comment period. The Chair shall determine whether the matter is within the Commission's jurisdiction. The Commission shall not act on or discuss any matters raised during the public comment period, which are not on the agenda, but shall refer such matters to staff for review and/or request such matters be placed on a future agenda.

STUDY SESSION

1218 Monte Diablo Avenue - Pre-Application Review for a Proposed Multi-Family Residential Project (PA-2023-026)

Review the proposed project on a preliminary basis, receive public comments, and provide input to the applicant and staff pertaining to the following project elements: 1. Site Plan – Placement of the proposed buildings and their transition to adjacent uses; 2. Building Design – Exterior design elements and their consistency with objective design standards; and, 3. Other project aspects that should be considered during the formal Planning Application.

CEQA: In accordance with Public Resources Code Section 21065, the review of a pre-application is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because the Planning Commission is not taking any action. Environmental review will be conducted as part of the formal planning application in conformance with CEQA.

REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Commission Members and Staff report on their various assignments and Commission requests for scheduling future items.
