CONSENT CALENDAR
All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered by the Council to be routine and will be enacted by one motion without discussion. If discussion is desired, that item may be removed and considered separately.
 
3.

Repeal Sidewalk Vendor Regulations - Ordinance Adoption

Adopt an Ordinance to repeal certain sections of the San Mateo Municipal Code in Titles 5, 13 and 17 with regard to regulations related to sidewalk vendors.

4.

Local Amendments to the California Energy and Green Building Code – Ordinance Adoption

Adopt an Ordinance to amend San Mateo Municipal Code Chapter 23.24, “Energy Code,” and an ordinance to amend Chapter 23.70, “Green Building Code,” to make local amendments to the State Energy and Green Building Codes.

1812 South Norfolk Street Police Department Use - Adopt Uncodified Ordinance

Adopt an Uncodified Ordinance Exempting a Parcel Located at 1812 South Norfolk Street (Assessor Parcel Number 035-361-440) from Chapter 27.18 of the Zoning Code for the purpose of establishing a Police substation and sleeping quarters at that location and receive an update on the project status and budget estimate.

East San Mateo Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Rehabilitation Project – Agreement

Approve an agreement with JMB Construction, Inc., for the East San Mateo Sanitary Sewer Lift Station Rehabilitation Project in an amount not to exceed $3,286,404; establish a contingency reserve in the amount of $350,000; and authorize the Public Works Director to execute the agreement in substantially the form presented and issue change orders within the contingency amount.

4th and Fremont Green Infrastructure Improvements – Agreement and Appropriation

Adopt a Resolution to appropriate funds and approve a budget transfer to the 4th and Fremont Green Infrastructure Improvement Project; approve an agreement with Guerra Construction Group for the construction of the 4th and Fremont Green Infrastructure Improvement Project in the amount of $372,150; establish a contingency reserve in the amount of $38,000; and authorize the Public Works Director to execute the agreement in substantially the form presented and issue change orders within the contingency amount.

8.

El Camino Real at State Route 92 Landscaping Improvements – Agreement

Approve an agreement with BKF Engineers for professional design services for the El Camino Real at State Route 92 Landscaping Improvements Project in an amount not to exceed $327,520; establish a contingency reserve of $30,000; and authorize the Public Works Director to execute the agreement in substantially the form presented and approve amendments within the contingency reserve.

Board and Commission Subcommittee – Community Relations Commission

Appoint Mayor Papan and City Council Member Bonilla to the Commission Appointment Subcommittee for the Community Relations Commission.

Green Infrastructure Plan - Approval

Adopt a Resolution to approve the City of San Mateo Green Infrastructure Plan.

High Voltage and LED Streetlight Conversion – Program Update

Confirm staff recommendation to utilize energy efficient light emitting diode streetlights with the high voltage circuits conversion program.

CLOSED SESSION

The public will have an opportunity to comment before the Council's consideration of this item. Following the meeting a report of action from Closed Session will be provided if required.
 

12.

Conference with Labor Negotiators (Gov. Code section 54957.6)
