Approval of Minutes

Approve the minutes of the Senior Citizens Commission Regular meeting of November 8, 2021.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Members of the public wishing to comment on any item not appearing on the agenda may address the Commission at this time. State law prevents the Commission from taking action on any matter not on the agenda; your comments may be referred to staff for follow up. Public comment is limited to a total of 15 minutes; however, an opportunity for additional public comment may be provided later in the agenda.

San Mateo Parklets and Pedestrian Malls – Presentation

Kathy Kleinbaum, Assistant City Manager, will provide an informational presentation on parklets and pedestrian malls in the City of San Mateo.

Age Friendly Action Plan - Update

The Commission will receive a presentation on the progress of the Age Friendly Initiative and the City of San Mateo Age Friendly Action Plan.

4.

Seniors Winter Recreation Programs - Update

San Mateo Senior Center staff will provide an update on the menu of Senior Recreation Programs being offered this winter, and potential adjustments that will be made due to the resurgence of the pandemic.

REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM COMMISSIONERS AND STAFF

Commissioners and staff report on their various assignments and requests for future agenda items.
